Random fact: Lufthansa's first ever jet aircraft was the B707 from 1960 onwards.

 

Future:

Lufthansa Airlines currently has over 140 A319/A320/A321s on order including the future A320neo.

They've also placed orders for 25 A350-900s, a further 4 A380s, 10 more B747-8Is and 34 B777-9Xs.

The B737-300s and B737-500s will be phased out by 2016.

Lufthansa Cargo have placed an order for 5 B777Fs.
